Davy Walsh (Irish politician)

Davy Walsh is an Irish Workers' Party councillor on Waterford City Council representing the Waterford City North area where he lives in the Ferrybank area.[1]

Elected in 1979, Walsh is one of the longest-serving members of Waterford City Council and is a member of the council's Transportation & Infrastructural; Economic Development & Planning and Traveller Committees.[2]

When former Workers Party colleague Councillor John Halligan resigned from the Party over his support for service charges, Councillor Walsh was the Workers' Party's sole elected representative until the 2009 local elections. He was re-elected at 2009 local elections.[3]
